2012 Awards per category:

• First Prize $100 per category
• Second Prize $50 per category
• Third Prize $25 per category
• Honorable Mention
• Best In Show $225 (one overall) 
• Marion W Savage, People's Choice Award $125 (one overall)
• Total Awards up to $1,175 

 

Award Ceremony Information:

• April 16: Applications begin being accepted (apply now)!
• May 30: LAST day to enter
• May 31 - June 2: Selection of Show
• June 3: Notification of Artists' selection by email
• June 8 & 9: Drop off for Art Work Selected to the Hamilton Building Community Room (next to Savage Art Studios) - 4735 W 123rd St, Savage MN 55378
• Friday June 8th: Selected Drop Off 3PM to 7PM
• Saturday June 9th: Selected Drop Off 10AM to 4PM
• June 11: Show Judging
• June 12: Award winner notification via email
• June 12 & 13: Hang show at Savage Art Studios Gallery
• June 14: Juried Art Show Opens to Public
• June 16: Award Ceremony and Judges Reception 11:30AM - 2PM in the Hamilton Community Room and complete show will be open in the Gallery at Savage Art Studios next door.

• JULY 20: Show Ends and Art Council staff will pick up art from community host locations
• JULY 21: Artist Pick Up at Savage Art Studios from 10AM to 4PM (no early pick ups available) - Art work will be in main gallery. Artists must sign for work being picked up or have an approved agent sign for art work.  PLEASE NOTE: Any work remaining past JULY 22 will be charged a $10 per day storeage fee for next 60 days.  After 60 days all artwork remaining will be donated to charitible cause of our choice.
