Where Nature, History and Art Convene
The Savage Arts Council, in partnership with Three Rivers Park District, The Landing, is pleased to present the second annual Minnesota River Arts Fair featuring up to 100 juried fine art and fine craft artists from Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The venue for this event is amazing with a wooded river trail and scenic views along the Minnesota River. The artist booths are nestled in and around the shaded town square of the park’s historical 1880’s village, where musicians play in the gazebo, art competitions take place and art lovers shop for original fine artwork.
Connecting art with history, attendees will also be able to interact with costumed historic interpreters in the beautifully restored historic village buildings.
New this year is an on-site photography contest & exhibit and a literary lounge where you can meet local authors and have your books signed.
About The Artists
Artists are selected for this event based on a variety of high-quality, original artwork including paintings, jewelry, glass arts, pottery, photography, hand-crafted furniture and more! (Artists can find registration information HERE)
The Competitions
Savage Arts Council is hosting two artist competitions during this weekend event: the second annual Minnesota River Arts Fair Plein Air Painting Competition & Show and the Onsite Photography Contest & Exhibition.
